All our pictures are printed using the giclee printing process, which utilises more colours than regular litho printing and has an unparalleled vibrancy and detail.
Giclee printing is widely regarded as the very best fine art printing method currently available - that is why it has been used by so many galleries, artists and museums as their preferred method of art reproduction.
Our pictures are available as either fine art prints or stretched canvases.
Fine Art Prints
We use pigment inks and archival paper approved by the Fine Art Trade Guild to ensure our prints´ longevity. Pictures are printed on an eco-friendly 300g softly textured fine art board. In most cases they are supplied with an off-white mount board (matte). However, certain prints will be supplied unmounted:
- very large prints that are posted in tubes
- custom sized prints
All prints are supplied unframed. Please see our articles on choosing the right frame and where to buy frames for useful information regarding framing.
In most cases, we offer our fine art prints in several sizes. Please note the sizes given refer to the frame size (ie the external measurements of the mount) rather than the actual image size. The actual images sizes are as follows:
- 24x30cm - image 6x8inches
- 30x40cm - image 20x29cm
- 40x50cm - image 29x39cm
- 30x30cm - image 20x20cm
- 40x40cm - image 28x28cm
Stretched Canvases
We use UltraChrome K3 inks and a bright white 350gsm 100% cotton canvas for our stretched canvas prints. We also coat them with a special satin finish varnish to help protect and preserve them.
The canvas prints are gallery wrapped around a solid 3.8cm frame, meaning the picture is continued around the edges of the frame to ensure it looks great from any angle.
Our stretcher bars are rounded at the back to ensure that they don´t leave an impression on the canvas. All our canvases come complete with a picture hanger for easy hanging.
In most cases, we offer our stretched canvases in several sizes:
- 30x40cm (12x16inches)
- 40x50cm (16x20inches)
- 30x30cm (12x12inches)
- 40x40cm (16x16inches)
- 50x50cm (20x20inches)
Larger sizes are available on request.

Caring for your print or canvas
To ensure your print or canvas lasts a lifetime we recommend that you:
- Avoid displaying it in direct sunlight as all dyes eventually break down under exposure to UV light: the less exposure, the longer they will last.
- Avoid excessive handling as the surface may scratch.
A note about colour
We have taken great care to accurately represent the colour of our pictures. However, each monitor displays colour slightly differently - so there may be a slight variance between what you see on your screen and the final printed picture. If colour is critical please ask us for a swatch prior to purchase.
