Over the coming weeks, we will be switching our main fine art paper to a new, more eco-friendly paper.
As a socially responsible company, we are constantly searching for new ways to lessen our impact on the environment. We have always sought to use recycled paper for all our printing needs, but were hampered by the lack of availability of a recycled fine art paper that both printed well and was resistant to fading.
So we were delighted to discover a new paper that combines the high standards of a fine art paper with responsible use of raw materials. This paper is made using a by-product of raw sugar production combined with the mills own recycled paper waste. The mill also use renewable energy sources to produce it – making it even more eco-friendly. But best of all, it prints like a dream and is extremely resistant to fading.
The paper is a 300gsm softly textured natural white that matches beautifully with our mount boards.
As we switch over, we will ensure that all prints in an order are printed on the same paper stock to guarantee consistency.
PS Please resist the urge to nibble your prints. The paper may be made from sugar cane but we can assure you it tastes like paper!

With a little over a month to go before Christmas, we thought we would let you know that the last date for non personalised Christmas gift orders is midnight GMT 12 December 2010. For personalised orders, please order by midnight GMT 10 December 2010.
If you wish to order hand or print art and require your finished prints in time for Christmas, please ensure that the prints have been returned to us by 3 December 2010.
Alternatively we can supply you with the kit and a special gift card that can be given to your lucky recipient on Christmas Day and they can then return them to us at their leisure.

This year, for the first time, I Love My Bear week is taking place – a seven day celebration of teddy bears!
Commencing on Monday 25th October bear lovers across the UK are being urged to join in the celebrations and help raise funds for The Children’s Trust at the same time.
The super cute teddy bear print would make a lovely addition to a baby’s nursery and comes in a range of colours including lemon, lilac, pink, blue, mint and white.
The notecards would be perfect for a new mum who would like to write thank you notes for all those new baby gifts she is sure to have received. They are made from recycled paper so they are very eco friendly too.
